I am highly camera shy but it’s probably time I did an “about us” post, which is really an “about me,” because I’m a one woman show. 😅 (with amazingly supportive vending helpers.) So here we go.
My given name is Summer Star, and I was born in the Black Hills of South Dakota to a mother of Slavic descent and a man of Native American descent. Since birth, earth-connectedness, celestial wonder, and universal spirituality have been a part of my life. I was raised with an animistic respect for the planet, its cycles, its creatures, its spirits, and the importance of balance and harmony with the natural world. My educational background is in Conservation Biology, Forest Science, and Environmental Policy and I worked in the clean energy field before launching my business in 2023.
I make and provide chthonically-inspired and eco-conscious ritual tools and witchcraft supplies to support and encourage sustainable witchcraft practices. My growing product line includes hand crafted 100% beeswax candles, incense blends, ritual oils, bath blends, ritual drums, talismans, charms, and other tools.
In October of this year, I also opened a Liminal Parlour on Front Street in downtown Salem, MA for intuitive services, customized product consultations, small group events, and educational opportunities. This space is an appointment-only location. If you’re looking for an item and not a reading or consult, nearly all of my products can be purchased and shipped from my online shop and local pick up will soon be available once I migrate to Shopify.
I celebrate natural alchemy, am dedicated to purity and potency, and I never use synthetic ingredients or fragrances. This means my products are free from phthalates, petroleum and parabens, fillers, synthetic dyes and chemicals, and are cruelty-free to honor the Earth, Body, Spirit, and Universal Rhythms.
